Wash ashore (noun): a newcomer to an island community

Wash Ashore Beer Company is dedicated to producing delicious organic beer that embodies the experience of island living!

Wash Ashore was conceived by Martha's Vineyard island dwellers John Clift, owner of Vintage MV and Joe Monteiro owner of Pizza di Napoli and previous Executive Chef at Atlantic Fish & Chophouse.

In 2015 they teamed up with fellow Vineyard residents Chad and Michelle Verdi, film producers and founders of Verdi Productions. Michelle has a passion for craft beer and Chad is an entrepreneur with decades of experience in the restaurant and food industry. Chad and Michelle are co-owners of Gregg's Restaurants of Rhode Island.

To brew Wash Ashore's line of organic beer they turned to Jon Cadoux of Peak Organic Brewery, an old friend of Wash Ashore co-founder John Clift. Jon had an established track record of brewing quality organic beer, so he was the perfect fit to bring Wash Ashore's concept to fruition.

Wash Ashore is now the official beer of Seastreak Ferry!

Because Wash Ashore believes in giving back, a portion of the proceeds from each of our beers is donated to charities.
